Bringing the Feeling Back

We had a long week at work with a big auction on Friday night, and decided that we needed a break from it all.

I knew that if we stayed at home for the weekend, I would find myself bogged down with spring cleaning. Organizing the office. Getting the laundry done. Dusting. I’d find an errand to run, and then convince myself that I might as well go grocery shopping, and then, and then, and then.

Blizzard 2016

Okay, I’m just going to come out and say it – I love the snow. Like, love, love, love the snow. I love the calm beauty of it all. It’s almost like the earth is in one long savasana (and spring is when you start bringing feeling back to your fingers and toes – I’ve actually thought this one out!) Anyway, I know that snow can be sort of a pain in the neck, and there are several people who don’t agree – but just go with it, at least for the sake of this blog post. Life is so much better when you see the upside, after all. πŸ™‚

Hey, there!

Well, well, well. We meet again!

I have been a busy little bee. I mean, obviously. My last official post was on January 27, 2015 – and before that, it was September 1, 2014. A few things have changed since then…

  • I started a new job.
  • We bought a house.
  • My niece Lily turned one.
  • I finished graduate school.
  • We got a puppy. (!!!)
  • We welcomed a new niece into the family.
  • We got MARRIED. (!!!!!!)
  • …and like, a hundred-billion other little things.
