Hey, there!

Well, well, well. We meet again!

I have been a busy little bee. I mean, obviously. My last official post was on January 27, 2015 – and before that, it was September 1, 2014. A few things have changed since then…

  • I started a new job.
  • We bought a house.
  • My niece Lily turned one.
  • I finished graduate school.
  • We got a puppy. (!!!)
  • We welcomed a new niece into the family.
  • We got MARRIED. (!!!!!!)
  • …and like, a hundred-billion other little things.

I started working at the auction with Stephen and have the luxury of seeing a lot of unique things come through the sale on a weekly basis. Working with Stephen is a lot of fun – We met almost seven years ago while working together for another company and while most people would probably hate working with their significant other, we actually like it! We bounce ideas off of each other all day long, and even if we are both running around like crazy people, we take the time to sit and each lunch together. 🙂

Two days after we my last blog post, we bought a house in the same town that we’ve lived in since we moved back from Wyoming. Buying a house was incredibly stressful, but so worth it. We have something that is our own and that feeling is pretty darn good.

I love that we have a fireplace!

We owned the house for 48 hours before we decided to
rip up the carpet and expose the hardwood floors.

Oh, and I finished my MBA. Nbd. Okay, actually, this was a HUGE deal and I’m really proud of myself.

MBA!

Bridger. Oh, Bridger. Only July 7th, his 2-month birthday, we picked up a fox red lab puppy. Life has never quite been the same, and I mean that in the best possible way ever. He has wild, crazy, hyper, and such a love bug. Instead of wagging his tail, he gets so excited that his whole body wags when you greet him. He loves bones and pumpkin puree and getting tangled in his lead. He weighed 12 lbs on the day we brought him home and has been steadily gaining weight ever since. He’s about 60-65 lbs right now at 8 months, and we’re expecting him to be somewhere around 90 lbs. Oof.

The day we brought him home.
He was such a peanut!

Lucky pup gets to come to work with us every day!

On October 3rd, 2015… We finally got to say, “I do”.
