Whoa, Summer!

Holy macaroni – when did September happen?!

Needless to say – considering that my last post was in June – it has been a *crazy* summer. Every single second has been breathtaking and memorable and for that I am incredibly grateful. It was a magical summer that I know I’ll look back on with so much love and appreciation. Here’s a glimpse of what life looked like for three months…

I spent a lot of time outside…

and watched a lot of sunsets…

I spent a lot of time here…

and spent a lot of time here, too…

every Tuesday, I spent a little time here…

and spent some time in the hammock with this guy…

I rode my gold bike whenever and wherever I could, especially to the beach…
and spent time eating good food with good friends…
most weekends, this was the view from our boat…

and of course, I spent a ton of time in the sunshine… (wearing sunscreen!)
I drank a TON of coconut water… (pineapple and lemon are my favs!)
hugs and kisses with this guy…

in addition to coconut water, I also drank wine… (responsibly!)
and feasted on freshly caught flounder and harvested clams…

we got to enjoy so much yummy-ness from the farm…
 I made a new friend…
spent time with my best friends…

and spent time in awe of my God…
And perhaps most importantly, perhaps the most amazing thing to ever happen to me… I was asked by my soulmate to spend the rest of my life with him. And I said…
Yes. Yes, yes, yesyesyesyesyesyesYES!
(and then I asked, “Is that for me?” It was.)
Needless to say… it’s been a great summer. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store.
